TROOP 149 |
It
is always a
special occasion for Boy Scout
Troop 149 when we celebrate the induction of our young men into
the Eagle Scout Court of Honor.
The journey to Eagle Scout is a
long and difficult
one, yet it is an enjoyable one. It started years ago as 'Tiger
Cubs' and later on as 'Cub Scouts'.
Upon joining the troop, they
advanced and held positions of responsibility. This rank is not easily
attained and that is why is so special.
Remember,
No
one ever says 'I
was an Eagle Scout'. Because once a young man becomes
an Eagle
Scout, he is forever an Eagle Scout.
OUR EAGLE CANDIDATES
The following Scouts are working towards the completion of their Eagle Project.
These projects present a great opportunity for the community and for scouts of other ranks
to see what is ahead of them and to help. It will also add to your community service hours.

UPDATE: Dylan has started working on his project after approval was granted by Chester County Council! 08/01/2009. Dylan's project is almost finished! Dylan was awarded the Eagle rank on 10/7/2009! Updated on 12/07/2009. Alex is in the process of selecting an Eagle Service Project and has made contacts with several institutions around our area. Alex has selected a project and he currently working in his planning stage. 1/25/2010 - Alex's project is well underway. A final approval by the Committee is required before he can start the work!! |

Updated on 08/11/2009 Brandon is in the process of selecting an Eagle Service Project and has made contacts with several institutions around our area. 12/07/2009. Brandon has selected a service project to be carried out at the Goodwill Fire Company in West Chester. He is currently working on his project's book and will start soon after a presentation to the Eagle Committee. 1/20/2010. Brandon's Project is all finished. His Merit Badges done and paperwork filed with Chester County Council...An Eagle Board of Review is all is between him and his rank! |

Updated on 08/11/2009 John is in the process of selecting an Eagle Service Project. His project will compliment that of other scouts at the Church of the Loving Shepherd. 12/07/2009 - John has began his work at the Church of the Loving Shepherd where he will construct a climbing apparatus for the kid's enjoyment. John's project will replace and older piece of equipment that has fallen in disrepair with the years. 1/25/2010 - John's project book is in progress and will be submitted to the Eagle Committee no later than 2/1/2010!!
