Boy Scouts of America
Chester County Council
TROOP 149

Troop 149's NEWEST! Eagles 2006.

It is always a  special occasion for Boy Scout Troop 149  when we celebrate the induction of our young men into the Eagle Scout Court of Honor.
The journey to Eagle Scout is a long and difficult one, yet it is an  enjoyable one. It started years ago as 'Tiger Cubs' and later on as 'Cub Scouts'.
Upon joining the troop, they  advanced and held positions of responsibility. This rank is not easily attained and that is why is so special.

Remember, No one ever says 'I was an Eagle Scout'.  Because once a young man becomes an Eagle Scout, he is forever an Eagle Scout.
An Eagle Court of Honor was held on March 11, 2006 at BUMC to honor Daniel S., Rob W. and Sean N as they
attained the rank of Eagle. These three scouts come from families with
long tradition of scouting and join
their brothers in reaching this rank. Mr. James Caron of the Chester County Council delivered the Charge and Mr.
James Florio, Assistant Scoutmaster, inducted the new Eagles into Eaglehood.
Federal, State and Local public officials issued commemorative citations on behalf of the new
Eagles.
Congratulations to Rob, Dan and Sean on becoming
EAGLES!

Brad S. received his Eagle rank after an Eagle Board of Review in February. Brad's Eagle project
was unique as an 'Instrument Drive' had never been done by our troop or, indeed, by the
school who benefited from his project. Brad received several instruments, some in consignment,
some donated and he fixed them and tuned them and recycled them amongst the
students.
An Eagle Court of Honor to recognize Brad will be celebrated in June 2007.
