Troop 149's NEWEST! Eagles 2005.

 

It is always a  special occasion for Boy Scout Troop 149  when we celebrate the induction of our young men into the Eagle Scout Court of Honor.
 The journey to Eagle Scout is a long and difficult one, yet it is an  enjoyable one. It started years ago as 'Tiger Cubs' and later on as 'Cub Scouts'.
Upon joining the troop, they  advanced and held positions of responsibility. This rank is not easily attained and that is why is so special.

Remember, No one ever says 'I was an Eagle Scout'.  Because once a young man becomes an Eagle Scout, he is forever an Eagle Scout.

With an Eagle Court of Honor held at the Newman Catholic Center of the West Chester University, Daniel Murray, Joel Entler, Evan Ferry and Kevin Nowell were recognized as troop 149 newest Eagles. Eagle Scout Andrew Farrell 'charged' them while Eagle Scout Tim Nowell delivered their induction into Eagles.


Congratulations on attaining this rank and good luck in all your future endeavors.

An Eagle Court of Honor was held on December 12th, 2005 to honor  Eagle Scouts Erik Bradley, Jeff Butterworth and Alex Faber. The 'charge' was delivered by fellow Troop 149 Eagle Scout Tim Nowell. The ceremony was held at the Elks Club in West Chester, PA.


Congratulations to all of you, your parents and all of those who pushed you and helped you move along!!

Soar!Our NEWEST NEWEST NEWEST EAGLE. (JAN 2005)

On January 20, 2005 Scout Sean Hunt received the rank of Eagle scout. Congratulations to Sean and his parents upon receiving this award. A Court of Honor to bestow this award onto Sean was held on Monday, June 13th 2005 at Bethlehem Methodist Church in West Chester, PA. He was 'charged' by Michael McKinney, past Scoutmaster of troop 149. Sean is active with the troop as a Junior Assistant Scout Master.

A Court of Honor was held, to celebrate their achievements, on December 10, 2004  at Bethlehem Methodist Church in West Chester, PA.  The 'Eagle' Charge was given by R. Andrew Gabries, a fellow troop 149 Eagle Scout!!
