Hiking/BackPacking Trip 2006 - It should have been 'deep freeze' adventure. It was COLD!!! with
temperatures hovering about freezing at their warmest  and that was while we hiked!
'Winter' camping at Horsheshoe - While it wasn't exactly 'winter' , although it was February the outside temperature
was about 60 degrees... We like those winters!! We camped and build a 'shed' to protect  some
exposed water lines in one of the buildings as part of our 'Home Repairs Merit Badge.
Exton Square Mall Event - In association with the Chester County Council and the Girl Scouts, troop
149 set up and manned a display to show cub scouts and webelo scouts what boy scouting is all about!!
Peiper's Cave - During May 2006, some members of  troop 149 enjoyed the hospitality of Peiper's Cave. As you can
see from the pictures, some places were extremely trying and narrow.  Glad to report that there were
no injuries and we didn't lose any scouts!!!
Whitewater rafting trip 2006- In the middle of July down the Lehigh river! What a fantastic week end.
Summer Camp 2006 - During the week of August 6 to August 13,  troop 149 visited Horseshoe Reservation as we
have done it for many years now. 21 Scouts enjoyed the frills and accommodations ONLY HSR can offer.
As always, Sherwood Forrest served as our home away from home and... we will
do it again next year after we come back from our trip to Italy!!  Enjoy these pictures!
Beach Jam 2006 - Once again we enjoyed the  hospitality only Wildwood, NJ can offer. This
year although it was warmer, it was, also, windier and wetter. yet we enjoyed ourselves!
Marksmanship Skill Training - Great day. We made use of all the instruction given to us
by our teachers while working on the rifle and shot-gun merit badges.
Spudguns -  We created our own spud guns and keeping up with the safety merit badge,
we fire them! It was an experience on its own!! (pictures thanks to Mrs. Shearman)
