SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERABoy Scout Troop 149 has been an important part of the Thornton community for more than 45 years.  We meet at the Bethlehem United Methodist Church of Thornton, PA every Monday night at 7pm.

We are a boy-led high-adventure troop.  Favorite activities include back-packing, winter camping, water-skiing, biking, hiking, paintball and zip-lining.  The highlight of our year is our annual summer camp week at the Horseshoe Reservation, where members develop their outdoor skills and earn badges, including Eagle Scout requirements.

For those boys who wish to attain the rank of Eagle Scout, we provide lots of  support.  To date, we are proud to say that 118 of our members have attained this rank through their hard work and commitment.

Interested in getting to know us better?  Join us for a meeting!
