How the voting went... There were 66 total votes (paper votes and emailed votes). The votes were tabulated using a 'weighted' scale. 3 points for first choice and 2 points for second choice.

What is next? The 'Big Trip' Committee will begin preparations for the trip. Fundraisers, talking with travel agencies and airlines and making contacts in Ireland to ensure a fun and educational trip. The Committee would like to invite anyone interested in these negotiations to join us. Now is the time to work hard and make this trip a reality. A plan will be developed by the committee and posted on this web site and announced in the Crier. It is the hope of the committee, that despite the fact that your preference didn't make it as the final destination, you will still accompany the troop in 2011....
Time to start inviting your friends and family.. Like Italy, Costa Rica, Hawaii and Alaska before, this will also be a Fantastic Trip!!!!! But we all need to work together!
